Carbon Audits and the Carbon Trust Standard
Many companies are concerned with how they can measure and manage their carbon and are increasingly requesting carbon audits as many clients are beginning to ask for verification of carbon footprints of products and services. Because carbon is globally recognised to be the determinant of climate change, it may be important for your organisation to carry out a carbon audit to determine the amount of carbon you produce in carrying out your activities.
This level of data capture is not necessary to comply with British and International Standards. However a carbon audit could be essential should you be under the Carbon Reduction Commitment, need to publicise your carbon status or compensate to achieve carbon neutrality for your organisation and any of your activities or projects.

We are now also offering certification towards the Carbon Trust Standard.
Carbon Trust Standard
The Carbon Trust Standard is the UK’s most recognised carbon management standard. It certifies that an organisation has genuinely reduced its carbon footprint and is committed to making further reductions year on year.

Carbon Trust Standard Services:
We will first assess your readiness to apply for the Carbon Trust Standard, by checking you data and carbon management systems. We will recommend improvements to your processes and documentation to support the application.
We will then take you through the application process, completing the Carbon Trust Standard spreadsheet and application form, presenting the primary data, compiling the Evidence Pack, to attending the assessor visits.
